Asuto-Blade of Shadows

Asuto: Blade of Shadows, is a third-person stealth-action game where you play as Asuto, a mystical shinobi who wields the power to manipulate shadows but is weakened by the light. 

• As you travel Edo Japan with your companion, you'll find yourself infiltrating fortified locations, studying your supernatural abilities, and defending high-value targets from deadly enemies.

• The game is aimed at a teen-and-up audience that enjoys stealth-focused action, unforgiving challenges, an overarching, slower narrative focusing on characters, and combat with a darker, more intense tone.

At the end of the Sengoku Period, the Imazu Samurai clan is  ruined during the Battle

of  Sekigahara, led by Lord Imazu. Asuto, the third son of Lord Imazu,

swears revenge on the overpowering Tokugawa Shogunate, and obtains a

supernatural pact that allows him to manipulate shadows at the cost of halving his

lifespan. He trains with these supernatural abilities, taking on attributes and skills of a

Shinobi, with remnants of his Samurai skills.

He sets out to kill as many of the Tokugawa Shogunate as he can, but during his

first encounter with a powerful figure he freezes due to fear, and flees to a village to

hide and live as a peasant.

After 3 years of hiding, Akari, the Wandering Warrior, comes across Asuto

and realizes his strength, and asks him to travel the lands of Japan with him. He joins

her, and across their travels they encounter many foes and allies alike, forging an

unbreakable bond in the process.
